Yo escribo porqué quiero inspirar, animar e informar. Pero también escribo por la misma razón :
un canario canta en su jaula
una bellota crece en un roble que da sombra
un pequeño patito se convierte en un cisne lleno de gracia
un oruga se transforma en una bella mariposa
un sueño se convierte en una realidad
los gatos contentos ronronean
un capullo florece en una preciosa rosa
una cabra montañera escala los Rockies
los rizos de agua forman una ola majestuosa
un águila abre sus alas y se lleva
un niño vaila en la lluvia

I am of Puerto Rican descent, a mother of four grown children, "Mimi" to a couple of gorgeous grandchildren, and happily married the second time around to a phenomenal man for twenty-seven years.
Life is not always easy (I certainty wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth). But God gives us life, and life is precious and worth living at any cost.
After several years of working on my memoir, and a few months of querying to literary agents for publication, I have joined forces and signed a contract with Chart House Press. I am excited to announce "Running in Heels - A Memoir of Grit and Grace," launches in Feb. 2015.

I've always known I have a story to tell (don't we all?). My prayer and desire: When you read my story, may you grow, be inspired and encouraged. This is a promise of hope for anyone who was abandoned as a child, to anyone who woke up hungry and went to bed hungrier every day, for every wife who loved a husband who left bruises on her heart and on her body.
I made it and you can, too. We don't have to let our past dictate our future!
