Algunos de ustedes han estado preguntando si soy todavía. Oh sí, mucho. Pero por razones personales, después de que la vida nos lanzó una bola curva en noviembre, había hecho tomado sabático un poco de blogging. Me alegra informarles que poco a poco me estoy volviendo atrás sobre vías con escritura, etcetera. Yo también ha unido grupo de un Toastmasters y dará mi discurso rompehielos a ellos esta semana. Voy a compartir los resultados con usted en una fecha posterior.

I am of Puerto Rican descent, a mother of four grown children, "Mimi" to a couple of gorgeous grandchildren, and happily married the second time around to a phenomenal man for twenty-seven years.
Life is not always easy (I certainty wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth). But God gives us life, and life is precious and worth living at any cost.
After several years of working on my memoir, and a few months of querying to literary agents for publication, I have joined forces and signed a contract with Chart House Press. I am excited to announce "Running in Heels - A Memoir of Grit and Grace," launches in Feb. 2015.

I've always known I have a story to tell (don't we all?). My prayer and desire: When you read my story, may you grow, be inspired and encouraged. This is a promise of hope for anyone who was abandoned as a child, to anyone who woke up hungry and went to bed hungrier every day, for every wife who loved a husband who left bruises on her heart and on her body.
I made it and you can, too. We don't have to let our past dictate our future!
